Space Age’s Plastic Cards are Getting A Boost!

On Monday, June 15, 2026, Space Age will be moving our credit and debit cards to a new card provider. Find out what that means for you!

IMPORTANT UPDATES
ATTENTION ALL CARDHOLDERS
You will be required to select a NEW PIN for your Debit or Credit Card. Old Card PINs will not transfer over from our old provider and will therefore not work starting on Monday, June 15, 2026. To add a PIN to your existing Debit or Credit Card, please call 800-290-7893 - AFTER June 15.
Instant issue cards WILL NOT be available until AFTER Monday, June 15, 2026. We apologize for the inconvenience.
- NO NEW CARDS. NO DOWNTIME.
On Monday, June 15, 2026, when Space Age is actively moving your cards to our new card provider, you won’t even know it is happening! We promise!
Your existing cards will continue to work seamlessly, with no expected interruptions. You will not be receiving new debit and/or credit cards in the mail either. Just continue to use existing Space Age cards as you always have!
- BETTER FRAUD COMMUNICATIONS.
Starting Monday, June 15, 2026, if your debit/credit card is temporarily blocked due to potential fraud, you will receive three separate communications from our card services attempting to verify if suspicious transactions are fraudulent or not. You will first receive a text message, then an email and finally a phone call. Please follow the directions in the communications to either (1) confirm the charges as fraudulent or (2) confirm that the charges are legitimate. If charges are deemed legitimate, the temporary block on your credit or debit card will be lifted immediately. You only need to respond to one form of communication.

- CONTINUED ACCESS TO SURCHARGE-FREE ATMs.
You will continue to have access to over 30,000+ surcharge-free ATMs across the United States, as you always have. To find a nearby surcharge-free ATM, visit www.spaceagecu.org.
SAME GREAT FEATURES – JUST ENHANCED.
- Contactless Capabilities. If you have a contactless card with Space Age, it will continue to be contactless on and after June 15. All new card issued/reissued after June 15 will have the tap-to-pay functionality.
- Digital Wallets. Space Age’s Apple, Samsung and Google wallets will be moved over to our new card provider during conversion. All cards currently within your digital wallet will continue to work as expected with no anticipated interruptions.
- Upgraded Rewards Program. Get rewarded even more on the purchases you make most often. Starting July 1, 2026, earn more points on groceries, gas and dining. Look for further information to be communicated about our upgraded rewards program in the weeks to come.
- New Sleek, Customizable Card Designs. New modern card designs will be rolled out on all Space Age plastic cards on June 15 to coincide with our conversion. Don’t want the standard Space Age card image? No problem. Space Age can produce you a new card on demand at any of our branch locations with a customized image you select yourself! Plus, it’s completely free!
- Advanced Card Controls. Have more control over your plastic cards within internet banking. You no longer have to use a separate app! Whether your card is lost/stolen, you are traveling, or you want to add alerts to your card, you now have the ability to do everything from within the convenience of internet banking!
Note: Please discontinue use of the CardNav App starting Monday, June 15, 2026. Any changes made in the app on or after June 15 will not be reflected within the settings of your existing card. All card alerts you have setup within the CardNav App will need to be setup within the Internet Banking "My Card Control" module AFTER June 15.
